Most kitchen projects involve more than swapping units — knocking through a wall, extending out the back, moving plumbing and electrics, or making good the plaster and flooring around a new layout. Because we're a multi-trade building team, we handle the structural work, windows and doors, plastering and flooring alongside the kitchen installation itself, worktops, sink and appliance connections and the final joinery and finishing.

A kitchen job is rarely just the kitchen. Floors come up, walls get replastered, electrics and plumbing move, and on a lot of the houses we work on the room itself needs opening up or extending before a single unit goes in. That's the part most kitchen suppliers don't cover.

Because Alliance is a general building and home improvement business, the same team can take on the structural work, the joinery, the plastering, the glazing and the kitchen fit. Our Shaw kitchen extension and refurbishment is a good example of how that works in practice — the space was built and finished, then the kitchen was fitted into it.
