Hardwood Bay Window Replaced with Oak-Effect uPVC
Failed hardwood bay window replaced with a modern oak-effect uPVC casement — matched on both front and rear elevations.
Scope of work
The original hardwood window had reached the end of its life — the frames had blown, the seals had failed and the room was cold and draughty. The owners wanted the warmth of timber without the ongoing maintenance.
We measured, manufactured and installed a new oak-effect uPVC casement window with A-rated sealed units. The colour was matched to the existing joinery elsewhere on the property so the change reads as an upgrade rather than a swap.
The room is noticeably warmer and quieter, and the elevation now looks maintained without needing to be repainted every few years.
The transformation.
