Joinery made to fit your space.
Fitted wardrobes, storage, media walls, shelving, counters and carpentry — designed around a site measure and your brief.
Made for the room, not the catalogue.
Alcoves, sloping ceilings, understairs spaces and older walls rarely suit off-the-shelf furniture. Bespoke joinery is planned around the actual space. Every design is confirmed after we've measured the room and agreed the brief, materials and finish with you.
As an example of our joinery, we made a bespoke reception desk in our workshop and fitted it at a business in Milnrow. Each project is different, so we'll discuss what's practical for yours.
Joinery we can discuss with you.
Fitted wardrobes & bedrooms
Floor-to-ceiling wardrobes, alcove units and furniture shaped around chimney breasts or sloping ceilings.
Walk-in wardrobes
Rails, shelves and drawers planned around how you actually use the space.
Understairs storage
Pull-out drawers, cupboards or open shelving to make use of awkward space under the stairs.
Media walls
A built-in feature wall for a TV and storage. Any electrics are arranged with a suitably qualified electrician.
Made-to-measure shelving
Alcove shelves, bookcases and display shelving built to fit.
Reception counters
Counters and desks for businesses, designed around how staff and visitors use the space.
Staircases & handrails
Handrail, spindle and balustrade repairs or replacements. Staircase work is assessed on site, as it can involve safety and Building Regulations requirements.
Internal doors
Doors measured, hung and fitted with architrave and hardware.
General carpentry
Skirtings, architraves, boxing in, door frames and repairs.
Designs are confirmed after site measure and brief; materials and finishes vary
From brief to fitted joinery.
- Step 01
Your brief
Tell us what you want to store or display, the look you like, and send photos of the space if you can.
- Step 02
Site measure
We measure the space, check walls, floors and ceilings, and note any services.
- Step 03
Design & quotation
We agree layout, materials and finish, then give you an itemised written quotation.
- Step 04
Making
Where suitable, items are made in our workshop; others are built on site.
- Step 05
Fitting
Joinery is fitted, scribed to the walls and finished as agreed.
- Step 06
Handover
We check doors, drawers and fixings with you and explain any care needed.
Things to think about.
- Painted, veneered and laminate finishes have different appearances and care requirements — we'll compare the suitable options with you.
- Fixings depend on the walls; older or uneven walls may need extra preparation.
- Media walls with electrics need an electrician; we'll coordinate this where appropriate.
- Our 2-year workmanship guarantee applies to eligible Alliance work.
