One team for the whole refurbishment.
Whole-house or room by room — kitchens, bathrooms, windows and doors, plastering, flooring, joinery and repairs, organised in a sensible order.
Planned in the right order.
Refurbishments go more smoothly when trades follow a logical sequence: structural and first-fix work, then plastering, then kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, joinery and finishing. We plan the scope with you and coordinate the work, bringing in suitably qualified trades for specialist items where needed.
Our real projects include internal plastering in a traditional farmhouse in Lees, a kitchen with herringbone flooring in Middleton and a bespoke reception desk for a business in Milnrow. We welcome enquiries from homeowners, landlords, holiday-let owners and small businesses.
What a refurbishment can include.
Kitchens
Replacement kitchens, fitting customer-supplied kitchens and related building work.
Bathrooms
Bathroom refits with tiling, fittings and layout changes where suitable.
Windows & doors
Replacement windows, front doors and internal doors.
Plastering & ceilings
Boarding, skimming, ceilings and repairs.
Flooring
Laminate, engineered wood, LVT and preparation.
Repairs & joinery
General repairs, carpentry, skirtings, architraves and fitted storage.
Homes, rentals and small businesses.
We're happy to discuss projects of different kinds — tell us about yours and we'll say honestly whether it suits us.
Homeowners
Updating a house you live in, or renovating one you've just bought.
Landlords & rentals
Refreshing rental properties between tenancies. Safety certificates and checks remain the landlord's responsibility and are arranged with qualified specialists.
Holiday lets & short-term rentals
Practical, durable fit-outs for holiday-let and short-stay properties. We welcome enquiries.
Small commercial spaces
Reception areas, shops and offices where the scope is appropriate — for example, the reception desk we made and fitted in Milnrow.
How a refurbishment works.
- Step 01
Enquiry
Tell us about the refurbishment you have in mind, with photos or measurements if you have them.
- Step 02
Survey & measure
We visit to look at the space, existing surfaces and services, take measurements and talk through options.
- Step 03
Written quotation
Your itemised quotation sets out what is supplied, what is fitted, any preparation and what is excluded.
- Step 04
Agreed start
We agree a start date and how the work will be organised around your home or business.
- Step 05
Installation
The work is carried out to the agreed scope, with any changes discussed and confirmed before they go ahead.
- Step 06
Handover
We walk through the finished work with you, explain any care requirements and leave the area tidy.
Before you start.
- Structural changes, electrics, gas and some plumbing work need qualified trades and may need approvals.
- Older properties can reveal hidden issues once work starts; we'll explain any proposed changes and agree them with you before proceeding.
- Living in during work is often possible with planning; we'll agree access and working areas.
- Our 2-year workmanship guarantee applies to eligible Alliance work; product warranties are separate.
